Help Build One of the World's Most Trusted Public Canine Education Resources
Mission
DogsNU™ is a nonprofit educational initiative dedicated to helping people better understand dogs through accurate, practical, evidence-informed education.
Our goal is not to promote one breed, one trainer, one veterinarian, one breeder, or one philosophy.
Our goal is to bring together knowledgeable professionals from many different disciplines so families, professionals, breeders, trainers, veterinarians, shelters, and communities can make better-informed decisions that improve the lives of dogs.
We believe collaboration creates stronger education.

Why Universities and Researchers Matter
DogsNU™ was created with the belief that the strongest public education is built through collaboration—not by relying on a single individual or organization.
As DogsNU™ grows, colleges, universities, researchers, faculty members, graduate students, veterinary professionals, and other subject-matter experts can play an important role in helping develop accurate, practical, and continually improving educational resources.
Graduate students and researchers often spend years studying specialized topics such as animal behavior, genetics, nutrition, learning theory, veterinary medicine, public health, ethics, and human-animal interaction. Their work helps expand our collective understanding of dogs and the people who care for them.
By encouraging responsible collaboration among experienced professionals, educators, researchers, and students, DogsNU™ seeks to make complex canine knowledge more understandable and accessible to the public.
We believe the future of canine education depends on bringing together many perspectives, disciplines, and areas of expertise. No single organization has every answer—but together we can help people make better-informed decisions that improve the lives of dogs and the communities they serve.
Help us build a stronger future for dogs through education and collaboration.
